Work-out Installations

Graduation project:
Proposal for work-out installations in the public spaces of a hospital. These installations are designed to motivate patients and visitors of the hospital to work on their health.

The first installation is a rowing-machine with which you can generate a big vortex of water with light-effects. Two people can compete for the highest vortex.

The other installation is a bicycle inside a big wheel with pictures on it. When you start cycling on it, the wheel will start turning and the pictures become a film of a wild bicycle chase. The faster you cycle, the wilder the chase becomes.
