Prix de Rome

Architectural Model
2010

The architects of FABRIC (Olv Klijn and Eric Frijters) asked me to help design an architectural model for their plan Slabs, Fabrics and Open Space. The model was their exhibit for the Prix de Rome architecture design contest.

The plan consists of a number of interventions in the neighborhood surrounding the August Allebésquare in Amsterdam.

In our model, the existing buildings, roads and water are represented by white surfaces/black lines. The interventions are represented by colored geometries.

FABRIC won the first prize of Prix de Rome 2010 with this design.

In the model, the existing buildings, roads and water are represented by white surfaces/black lines. The interventions are represented by colored geometries.
